A heartwarming story about a special friendship that develops between two hospitalized children: a young girl scheduled for surgical repair of a VSD and a pre-adolescent burn patient. Although the medical information is dated, the book chronicles the psychological experience of a child awaiting heart surgery in a realistic fashion. Recommended for ages 9 through adult.
